Grade 10
Year 10 is the final year before students choose their own pathways in their education. It is therefore imperative to have further educational skills engraved into them. Tuition prepares students for all educational pathways such as the VCE and IB programs, and is a mandatory investment if you want your child to have the strongest academic future attainable. Regardless if your child is top of the class or lagging behind, Lunar Academy provides the leap above other students required to survive in the competitive nature of their senior years.
Curriculum
At Lunar Academy, your tutor will create customised weekly content to address your child's unique learning style and needs, all while aligning with the rigorous standards of the Victorian Curriculum.
Our curriculum is informed by the Victorian curriculum to ensure you meet all your learning outcomes. Your tutor will also guide you to more difficult related topics to extend your knowledge past your age group. This allows you to be more prepared than your peers for Grade 10, which may grant further opportunities and recognition.
Furthermore, your tutor will guide you through utilising your knowledge to help strategise and prepare for ICAS and Select School Standardised Testing. Our personalised sessions will ensure that you, regardless of your current skill level, will see significant improvement in your academic skills and assertiveness.
Ultimately, you will be a confident student with a strive and love for learning.
Sessions
Lunar Academy offers flexible online and in-person classes. Sessions are recommended to be 1 hour long per subject. The sessions will cover: teaching content, revising knowledge gaps and testing. It is highly recommended that your child attends a session at least once per week to solidify their learning outcomes. The arrangement of fewer or more sessions is welcomed.

There are two types of sessions offered: Group and Private. Private sessions are attentive one-on-one sessions with your child and tutor. Group sessions involve a tutor interacting with no more than six students. We have no classroom-sized sessions as we believe that children learn best when they have the complete attention of their tutor.
Prices
Our pricing is simple and competitive, making quality education accessible for all. Online classes come with a 10% discount on standard rates, offering a flexible and affordable learning option.

For families who prefer in-home tutoring, a small travel fee of $5–$10 per session may apply, based on your location. In rare instances where specialised materials or additional support are required, any extra costs will be discussed and agreed upon upfront.
